Channel Island Trips
Ever popular adventures to the Channel Islands combine a trip across the Channel fishing the numerous wrecks, a stay in local B+B or self-catering accommodation - and the chance to dip into ‘island living’ ,stepping back in time. The Channel Islands are closer to France than UK, benefitting from traditionally sunnier days and a lifestyle that is truly continental. From March onwards, turbot and brill are targeted with the summer months boasting bass, bream and tope. Superb Cod and Pollack fishing on the mid-channel wrecks makes a great day crossing there and back. 4-5 days are the norm.
All fish caught on the trip is kept fresh on ice in the purpose built hold, incorporated in the boats design. To keep fish at optimum condition for the journey home, ice is delivered to the boat on arrival back in Weymouth by Clem’s wife. Please provide your own box and/or bags to transport your catch home
